Ucan-do-it programme earns smartcard specialist place among the UK’s most innovative and successful businesses
Novacroft has been selected as a finalist in the National Business Awards’ Market Gravity Innovation category which celebrates the ideas that have had the greatest impact on an organisation or industry.
Novacroft is up against nine other companies, including British Gas, Heathrow Airport and UK Power Networks, which have all been recognised for their successful application of innovation, from new products and services to a culture of improvement.
In its citation, the multi-disciplinary panel of judges praised Novacroft’s innovative Ucan-do-it reward and recognition programme which, ‘Allows communities to reward citizens for their actions, delivering cost efficiencies to the public sector and growing business in communities.’
Dame Helen Alexander, Chair of Judges, says:
These finalists represent some of the most innovative and inspiring businesses the UK has to offer. I’m always interested to see what the finalists are doing differently to stand out in their fields and this year we have some fantastic examples of success.
Alex Evans, Programme Director of the National Business Awards says:
The diversity and quality of this year’s finalists have firmly established these Awards as the talent scout for UK plc, with market-leading household names recognised alongside the best emerging business brands.
Novacroft Founder and CEO Debra Charles says:
Being chosen as a finalist in the National Business Awards says a lot about the culture of innovation we encourage and enable at Novacroft to make sure we continue to harness technology and data for social change and ever-smarter ways of travelling, living and working.
