Novacroft has been appointed as a supplier on NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS)  framework agreement, one of 29 organisations who will have the opportunity to deliver patient communication services to NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations.

Since 1998, Novacroft has made significant improvements to clients in the public and third sectors, such as Transport for London, The Royal British Legion, Home-Start UK and University of Bradford, by shining a light on what the future holds, creating their vision of success and identifying what needs to be done to achieve this vision.

This news follows on from Novacroft’s appointment on the Crown Commercial Services Framework, which will also drive efficiencies for public sector organisations and UK government. Debra Charles, Novacroft Founder & CEO, said:

In 2020, we helped leading charities create their Covid-19 recovery plan, and our mission is to replicate this for NHS Trusts to support the wider healthcare sector and improve patient and NHS Trust employee experience and wellbeing.

Adam Nickerson senior category manager of digital and IT at NHS SBS commented:

The coronavirus pandemic has added to the complexity of patient appointments and waiting lists. Our  framework agreement is designed to respond to the need within the NHS for better pre and post appointment communications, to reduce the backlog of urgent appointments and improve the patient journey, pathway and care.

Critically, the framework agreement ensures organisations can be more inclusive of patient preferences by offering them a greater number of ways in which they can interact, make and respond to medical appointments.

Debra Charles added:

It is imperative to myself and my team that we make a difference as the UK moves on from this pandemic and looks towards opportunities created by the 4th Industrial Revolution.
