Novacroft’s CEO and Founder, Debra Charles, has been announced as a finalist at the very first All Things Business Northamptonshire Business Awards 2018.
Debra is shortlisted in the Businesswoman of the Year category, as one of five finalists. The category celebrates individuals who carve out a legacy that influences, evolves or sometimes even defines an industry. It recognises people with vision who can lead and inspire others to deliver on their dreams and business objectives. In the words of the organisers:
this award will celebrate the business leaders of Northamptonshire, who show passion and have made substantial impacts in their fields.
Entries in all awards categories were assessed by an independent judging panel comprising Luke Biddle, Director of Marketing for Northern Europe for RS Components, Dr Mairi Watson, Dean of Business Faculty and Law at the University of Northampton, Simon Longhurst, Apprenticeships Manager at the University of Northampton & Susan Helman who is the Head of Supporter Engagement at the University of Northampton. This panel agreed the finalists for each category.
Speaking about the judging process, Luke Biddle, RS Components Director of Marketing for Northern Europe, said:
The standard has been exceptionally high. Northamptonshire clearly has a huge pool of talented businesses and I have been so impressed.
Winners will announced at a ceremony at The County Ground, Northampton, on Thursday 15th November.
