The #CharityForum, founded by Novacroft in 2019, has been shortlisted in the Business Charity Awards 2021, in the Project of the Year category.
The Business Charity Awards 2021, run annually by Third Sector, will recognise the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on our working lives, and how it has created a raft of challenges for the voluntary and not-for-profit sector, along with their corporate partners. The awards will reward the amazing work the sector has done to combat these challenges, and celebrate the teams behind it.
The #CharityForum entry described how we’ve worked with our #CharityForum members to support the wider sector, before and during Covid-19, and how we’ll continue to do this post-pandemic, with a focus on our mission to ensure that charities are able to thrive.
Debra Charles, Novacroft’s Founder & CEO, and Founder of the #CharityForum, said:
I’m delighted and proud that the #CharityForum has been shortlisted for the Project of the Year award. Charities are the underbelly of support humanity needs to navigate towards the opportunities and away from the perils of the 4th Industrial Revolution. It’s vital that we do all we can to enable charities to go beyond surviving, to thriving.
David Oladiran, Novacroft’s Business Development Manager, commented:
When we started #CharityForum in 2019, we were determined to work with amazing minds from the Charity sector to help the sector to be fit, to thrive. Since then, we have come a long way, supporting charity leaders with practical tools, knowledge, and expertise to overcome challenges and harness opportunities. This nomination is an inspiration to do more to support the sector.
Results will be announced 18-19 May 2021 at a virtual awards ceremony.
